I love winter weddings! The light can be lovely and there are no great expectations about the weather - if it rains, just think it's good luck - a wet knot is harder to untie after all! This was a particularly lovely December wedding with a German theme. Marc, the groom, built a fantastic German market stall and filled it with delicious sweets and biscuits made by his good friend, Nic - they looked amazing.
Pitt Hall Barn makes a really stunning venue whatever the weather (which was really pretty horrible for most of the day - cold, wet and windy) - there is plenty of warm space indoors for the guests to wander around while photos are taken, and the farmyard provides endless possibilities for portraits of the Bride and Groom and families. On a good day you can also take a drive up to the fields for photos overlooking the beautiful countryside. The staff at the barn couldn't have been more helpful, even dressing in Oktoberfest style aprons to serve dinner!
This was a really lovely wedding, Marc and Laura are such a sweet and happy couple and so relaxed with each other, it was very special and we wish them a long and happy future together with much love.
